My patients can expect warmth, respect, and understanding in a safe and
non-judgmental space. The approach I use is both holistic and collaborative. I believe in the power of considering each person as a whole, looking at body, mind, spirit, and environment, as well as inner strengths and more. I also believe that forming a trusting partnership is key to making progress and moving towards healing.
SPECIALTIES

My background as both a naturopathic doctor and a counselor gives me a unique perspective as a provider. Naturopathic doctors attend 4-year medical schools, where they are trained to provide primary care medicine, as well as use nutrition, lifestyle changes, botanical medicines, and other complementary and alternative treatments.
I recognize the importance of treating the whole person and not focusing exclusively on individual parts. I believe in helping patients learn new skills and develop new understanding allowing them to take charge of their health. I also believe in the resilience of the human body and mind, and their ability to heal when given adequate support.
I’ve been in San Diego for over five years. I grew up in Kansas, and after moving here I discovered that I felt right at home and decided to stay!
In my free time, I love going on hikes, reading, watching movies, spending time with friends, and writing and performing music.
